Hope you had a Happy Halloween! Did you turn your clocks back last night?
The Student Council’s Annual Food Drive runs through Monday, Nov. 24. All collected Items will benefit the neighborhoods serviced by the Howard Community Center.
From Ms. Temkin: Nov. 12, 19 and Dec. 10 are slam poetry workshops for 8th grade. We are hosting these three workshops in an effort to get students working towards our slam poetry team auditions. The auditions will be on Dec. 15th and 16th (after school, times TBD).
The PTA’s Cultural Arts Committee is sponsoring an Improv class Monday afternoons after school. For more information, see the attached flyer. Currently, the cost of the class is $60 per person for an 8 week session. We do have some partial and full scholarships available to help with that. To apply for a scholarship, please email Debbie Price at [email protected]. We will be working with the Fine Arts teachers and Administration to ensure we are doing our best to provide scholarships to all those that qualify.
